We are now accepting entries for the 2020 SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest, which ends November 1st, 2020.
Amphibian populations worldwide are in the midst of a mass extinction crisis, yet most people are completely unaware! We need your help in getting the word out: we encourage all nature lovers to seek out their inner frog artist and participate in the SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest! People of all ages, nationalities, and skill levels are encouraged to enter the contest, and we hope all schools will draw frog art on Save The Frogs Day!
The SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest invites you to create your coolest frog artwork. The contest will raise awareness of the amphibian extinction problem by getting people involved and interested, and the artwork will be used on t-shirts, stickers and posters, and in greeting cards and books, to both publicize our cause and raise money for SAVE THE FROGS! amphibian conservation efforts.
“We had a whole unit on this. The kids learned SO MUCH science along with the history of frogs all in the name of art!”
— Karen, Teacher, Ohio

Who Can Enter
Anybody! The SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest serves as an excellent method for getting students interested in both frogs and art, and gives them a productive and enjoyable diversion from their normal school activities, while educating them about frog extinctions. We encourage students and teachers to get their art classes involved on Save The Frogs Day. We encourage amateur and professional artists and graphic designers to take part as well. And the more countries represented the better! It is free to enter the contest, though we suggest all mail-in entries include a few dollars to assist our frog-saving efforts!
Dr. Kriger, Thank you for your important work to save our frogs! As a
school librarian at an elementary school, I was delighted to come across
your website, and held a schoolwide art contest patterned after yours.
Our winner’s work is enclosed, plus a few extras. The contest truly
raised awareness among my students, and I know some of these kids will
now have a greater respect for frogs and animals as a result.”
